AICWU Museum Statement on The Events of May 4, 2024
A message for AICWU members on the museum staff:
The following statement was written by a committee of our peers in response to the events of May 4, 2024. It addresses the presence of police on the museum campus, the First Amendment rights of SAIC students, and the demands of SAIC student protesters. The statement was voted on by the museum union membership and shared with museum management.
